Why a manual installation? phpBB3 has a automatix install.

Hello.
Why has ModphpBB3 a manual installation (modphpbb3 com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=406)?
phpBB3 has an automatic installation.
Even the discontinued phpBB2Plus had an automatic installation.

It never has been ran via an install script and I doubt ever will.
It takes a shorter time installing it this way than using an install like phpBB.
So you fill out the config file manually, import the sql - Done!
The only advantage an install script would be for those that are unable to import a file in phpmyadmin, etc though I can't see this way of install being much harder to do?

Never ran a modphpBB3, but it is normal by phpBB
