Update to 3.0.5

Is it possible or advisable to update phpbb from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 while using ModphpBB3 without having any troubles? The main reason I want to do this is to install a new skin/style.
Updating is flawless if done right.
Use the auto update package, and merge the mods choosing these options for orange and red areas.
Don't choose a different option than shown in image for either red and orange area.
Remember back up your files before uploading the update files so you can go back up if you choose different option.
