add_games is blank

Hi there - I am desperately hoping for help with a very strange issue. My site has been going fine for several years until a month ago when the host upgraded php etc. Everything else works except for site/arcade_games&mode=add_games.

I haven’t been able to add any games to my arcade since March 25.

I can upload them to the server, unpack them in my Administration Control Panel on site/adm/index.php?sid=b3bce093eb7fd0005d0dde2b91d7 b9cc&i=arcade_games&mode=unpack_games but when I go to add them to the arcade on site/adm/index.php?sid=b3bce093eb7fd0005d0dde2b91d7 b9cc&i=arcade_games&mode=add_games I can only get a blank page.

Does anyone know what happened or how to fix this please?

don't really know! might be a new configuration on your new host. or have you tried to recheck the edits for the arcade mod, to see if everthing is fine? and does the new hosts configuration fit the requirements of the arcade mod?

To add to the background given by Chery. The following series of updates have taken place between March 24 and the present date:

24 March 12
Re-compile Apache/PHP to include .zip module [Apache 2.0/PHP 5.3.8]
Problem during compile and it had to be re-done.
Installed Softaculous

After this update, Chery reported problems with Add_Game.

Completed a long series of tests and all "seems" to be correct, except it does not work.

Early April:
Upgraded to Apache 2.2.22/PHP5.3.10
No change

24 April
Re-compiled and removed the .zip module
No change

24 April
Re-Compiled and removed Front Page
NO change

24 April
Re-Compiled and added Ruid2
NO Change

We have completed essentially all of the obvious system problems.

Also reviewed the MySQL Tables. All are valid [ie no corruption].

PHPBB is currently at 3.0.6 and should be at 3.0.10
We have already done this upgrade once, and it did not make any difference.
PHPBB was re-installed from backup and is again at 3.0.6.

Are there any very specific settings which need to be made which would create this problem?
Essentially, everything works with the rather major issue of not being able to add new games.

Reviewing with our technical support everything seems to be correct in the installation and there is concern that perhaps the upgrade of PHP may have exposed some coding errors in PHP or in MODPHP.

Any pointers are welcomed.

Not sure what happened, I posted a very detailed description of what happened in this case.
Post is marked as waiting moderation.
Any input would help so we can change the server configuration to suit.

does this happen with all the games you try? and have you tried checking the file permissions in your FTP program to make sure they haven't changed from what they where before, according to how the arcade mod needs them to be!?
