Yep you're right, will change Sewell's post (again :D )

andy if you skip back up a few posts, you will see the correct sql queries to add the chat straight to database. I changed Sewells zip file to reflect that change, and added it to the bottom of his upgrade.sql for anyone using the same from now on.

i've got most of it up n running now,but i am missing announcement centre.it shows on the page but there is nowhere in the acp for me to write the announcement.Any ideas or have i done something wrong? Its not a
necessity but it would be nice instead of a permanent 'Site Announcements can be seen here!!'

andy, do this:
You can do this by going to your Administrator Control Panel then click on the Systems tab.
On the left hand side, choose "Administation Control Panel" under "Module Management".
Go to General -> Board configuration (or where ever you would like to install the module)
In the combo box, bottom right (select) choose "Announcement Centre".
Add Module, and complete!
You may have to do the same with a few other mods, but add them to the .MODS tab instead.

First make sure, announcement settings isn't in the left hand side of the first admin screen before you add it.

Im not being able to add the mods, or maybe its just that i dont know how to do it properly.

Also, is there a way to have the shoutbox on top instead of the botton and change the refresh time of the chat?

Adding mods in admin; follow four posts up, but add the mods to the .mods tab if some are not showing. They should in theory already be there.

For shoutbox; see this post http://www.modphpbb3.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=41

There is no admin control for chat and shoutbox for now, but their mod authors may add it later on I'm not sure.

Have you got user reminder installed in admin?
You can do this as follows:
a) Go to System in the ACP
b) Go To Administration Control Panel under Module Management
c) Go to .MODs
d) Go to the Add Module button
e) Type in User Reminder Mod and click on Create New Module

f) Make sure you create User Reminder Mod as a new Category and have .MODs as parent. Make sure to enable it
g Click on the User Reminder Mod category
h) Go to the dropdown next to the Add Module button
i) Click on Configuration (underneath User Reminder) in the dropdown
j) Click on the Add Module button next to the drop down
k) Once added, you need to click on the Enable link next to it
l) The enable should turn into disable
m) Repeat steps h) to l) with Zero Posters, Inactive Users, Not logged in and 2nd Reminders
n) Click General

No the arcade may be separate. Only disable user reminder if you don't want to use it, I think it's only one of the modules on that mod that remain hidden.

What is the forum you are running, a test board or a live site?

I realised after writing that, that in a thread about 'converting forums over to ModphpBB3' it was kind of a silly question to ask. :D

I can maybe add the module instructions too when I get chance, but most should be on there anyway. I think it was just the user reminder one that LDM has posted.
