New User Cannot Register - Blank White Screen

Post by KevThornton »

Hi,

I've set-up and installed everything on my modphpbb3 forum but new users cannot register!
When I click on the register link I get to the accept terms screen but when I click the "I agree to these terms" burron all I get is a blank white screen!!!

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

are you using paid hosting or free hosting? And were all the files correctly uploaded to the site, so that none are missing!?

Paid hosting - it's on my own site. All files were uploaded correctly & everything seemed to be working but thinking I may have a problem with my config file!

if it was a problem with the config file i don't think you would be able to connect to the site.

I use net to ftp. i think the program in uploading the files doesnt matter. i tried both the portal and forum version but the same problem. i tried uploading again on the same server the previous version (1.0.5) and it works fine. see it here: http://textmate.tk
one thing, i cannot post in the mini chat of 1.0.6 version
I think you are a member by default in the 1.0.6... you are free to see and look whatever you want since it is not yet final. i didnt remove your user.

i cannot figure out, nor can I reproduce the problem with the blank screen I have installed it four different times already to test it and everything works the way it should be! as far as the mini-chat check the permissions for groups and/or users.

Can you try it with prosilver enabled as default and see what happens?

the same thing... i previously tried it with prosilver. i was thinking that the problem is the CAPTCHA since i cannot also view the CAPTCHA thing in the admin control panel. white blank screen also appears. can you restore the old CAPTCHA? or make something about it? tnx...
